Electrical
Service and distribution, lighting, life-safety, special systems, and controls — new construction, upgrades, and maintenance.
Tucson, Arizona
Arizona Electrical Solutions holds four Arizona ROC licenses — electrical, HVAC and refrigeration, heavy-civil engineering, and general building — and self-performs the work under all four. Every service below is one we do with our own people. Request a bid →
One Contractor
Most commercial projects need an electrical contractor, a mechanical contractor, an underground contractor, and someone to coordinate them. We are all four, which removes the seams where schedules slip and responsibility gets debated. Our licenses are active and verifiable on the Arizona ROC's site — see credentials.
Service and distribution, lighting, life-safety, special systems, and controls — new construction, upgrades, and maintenance.
Commercial mechanical systems installed, controlled, and commissioned alongside the electrical scope.
Trenching, duct banks, utilities, grading, and foundations — self-performed with an owned Cat fleet.
Ground-up commercial building and general contracting, including design-build delivery and MEP coordination.
Electrical
The CR-11 scope, self-performed: everything from the utility point of connection to the last device.
The full commercial electrical capability, start to finish.
Service entrance, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, and feeders.
Capacity increases and gear replacement, phased so the building stays open.
Generator sets, transfer switches, emergency circuits, pads, and commissioning.
Interior, high-bay, exterior, site, and parking lighting with controls.
Interior, high-bay, and exterior LED upgrades with controls and photometrics.
Photometric design, LED conversions, pole repair, bases, and feeders.
Fire alarm panels and devices, emergency power, egress lighting, and AHJ sign-off.
Building and lighting controls, metering, motor controls, and commissioning.
MCCs, starters, drives, equipment power, and commissioning.
Cat 6/6A and fiber, MDF/IDF build-outs, testing, security, AV, and paging.
Readers, electric locks, IP cameras, head-end rooms, and exterior power.
Engineering
In-house design and analysis — by the same firm that builds what it draws.
Power system design, photometrics, special systems, and permit-ready documents.
Field data, short-circuit and coordination analysis, incident energy, and labels.
Rooftop and carport PV, battery storage, TEP/Trico interconnection, and efficiency retrofits.
Level 2 and DC fast charging — engineered, trenched, and wired.
Mechanical
The CR-39 scope, integrated with the electrical work instead of coordinated across two contracts.
RTUs, splits and VRF, change-outs, ductwork, controls, and start-up — the full mechanical scope.
RTUs, split and VRF systems, chillers and boilers, make-up air, refrigeration.
Duct design, fabrication, installation, insulation, diffusers, and balancing.
Line sets, brazing, evacuation and charging, leak testing, EPA-compliant handling.
DDC controls, BAS integration, and sequences of operation.
Code ventilation, exhaust, make-up air, filtration, and economizers.
Start-up, TAB, commissioning, retrofits, and preventive maintenance.
Underground
The KA engineering scope, self-performed with an owned Cat fleet and certified operators.
Excavation, duct banks, conduit, backfill, and restoration with an owned Cat fleet.
Open-cut trenching, mass excavation, potholing, and trench safety.
Concrete-encased duct banks, multi-way conduit, manholes, vaults, and pads.
Primary and secondary distribution, foundations, tie-ins, and wet-utility work.
Clearing, rough and fine grading, cut and fill, pads, and compaction.
Engineered backfill, compaction, concrete and asphalt restoration.
Delivery
One contract, one schedule, one company accountable for the whole scope.
Design-build delivery, general contracting, and MEP coordination.
Single-source design and construction for owners, architects, and designers.
The full commercial electrical scope across the Tucson metro.
Heavy distribution, machine and process power, motor controls, high-bay lighting.
Safe-off and demo, panel changes, lighting, data, and fire-alarm coordination.
Panel and switchgear inspections, lighting upkeep, and life-safety testing.
Standby power, duct banks, grounding, and HVAC support for critical facilities.
FAQ
Yes — that is the point of holding four licenses. Electrical (CR-11), HVAC and refrigeration (CR-39), heavy-civil and underground (KA), and general building (KB-1) are all in-house, along with our electrical engineering. On most projects the only thing we subcontract is work outside those scopes.
No. We are a commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, and mixed-use contractor. Our free field guides and calculators are open to everyone, but the construction work we bid is commercial.
We are based in Tucson and licensed statewide, working across Pima County, Cochise County, Santa Cruz County, Pinal County, and into the Phoenix metro. See our service area for the cities we cover most often.
Yes. Owners and general contractors bring us in for a single scope all the time — the underground, the electrical, the mechanical, or a study — as well as for full design-build delivery.
Send drawings, a scope, or just a description of the problem through the contact form, or call (520) 308-6235. We provide license, bonding, and insurance documentation for prequalification on request.
Describe the project or the problem. We'll tell you what it involves, which trades it touches, and what it takes to build it — before you commit to anything.
