Interior & High-Bay Lighting

  • Office, retail, and common-area lighting — The everyday lighting that makes a space usable and inviting. We install recessed, surface, and architectural fixtures at the right light levels and color temperature for offices, retail, lobbies, and corridors.
  • Warehouse and high-bay lighting — High ceilings need high-output, efficient fixtures. We install LED high-bay and low-bay lighting for warehouses, manufacturing, and big-box space, laid out for uniform light down at the floor.
  • Task and accent lighting — Beyond general lighting, we add task lighting at work areas and accent lighting to highlight architecture, product, or signage where it matters.
  • LED fixtures, drivers, and emergency packs — We install LED fixtures, their drivers, and integral emergency battery packs where egress lighting is required — so the right fixtures double as code-compliant emergency lighting.

Exterior, Site & Parking

  • Building and facade lighting — Wall packs, soffit, and accent lighting for building exteriors — for security, wayfinding, and curb appeal.
  • Pole bases, feeders, and circuits — Site lighting starts underground. Our own crews form and pour the pole bases, trench and install the feeders, and bring the circuits back to the panel and controls.
  • Pathway and security lighting — Bollards, pathway, and security lighting that keep walkways, entries, and perimeters visible and safe after dark.

LED Retrofits & Energy Upgrades

  • Fixture and lamp LED retrofits — Replacing aging fluorescent and HID lighting with LED cuts both energy and maintenance. We retrofit existing fixtures or swap to new LED, often in occupied buildings with minimal disruption to operations.   • Energy-code (IECC-style) compliance — New and renovated lighting has to meet energy code for wattage and controls. We design and install to meet IECC-style requirements and document the compliance for plan review.
  • Utility rebate-ready upgrades — Many LED and controls upgrades qualify for utility rebates. We install rebate-eligible equipment and provide the documentation that supports the incentive.
  • Reduced energy and maintenance cost — LED lighting uses a fraction of the energy and lasts far longer, cutting the power bill and the cost of re-lamping hard-to-reach fixtures for years.

Lighting Controls & Emergency

  • Occupancy/vacancy and daylight sensing — Controls that turn lights off when a space is empty or daylight is sufficient — now required by energy code and a major energy saver. We install and program occupancy, vacancy, and daylight sensors.
  • Time-clock and networked controls — We install time-clock, astronomical, and networked lighting-control systems so a building lights on a schedule and can be managed from one place.
  • Dimming and zoning — We wire dimming and zoning so light levels can be tuned by area, time, or task — for comfort, energy savings, and code compliance.

Is an LED retrofit worth it for a commercial building in Arizona?

Usually, yes. LED retrofits typically cut lighting energy 40–70%, and in the desert they pay twice — older fluorescent and HID fixtures dump heat into the space that your cooling system then has to remove. Add lower maintenance and utility rebates, and most Tucson retrofits pay for themselves in a few years.

Do you handle utility lighting rebates?

Yes. Many LED and lighting-control upgrades qualify for utility incentive programs. We design around rebate-eligible equipment and provide the fixture counts, wattage documentation, and paperwork the incentive requires.

Does Tucson restrict outdoor and site lighting?

Yes. The City of Tucson and Pima County enforce an Outdoor Lighting Code — dark-sky rules that protect the region's observatories — governing shielding, light output, and color temperature for exterior fixtures. We design and install parking, area, and building lighting that passes those reviews the first time.

What lighting controls does energy code require?

Most new and renovated commercial spaces need occupancy or vacancy sensing, daylight-responsive controls near windows and skylights, and automatic shutoff — per the IECC-based energy codes adopted across Arizona. We install and program those lighting controls and document the compliance for plan review.

What is a photometric plan, and when do I need one?

A photometric plan models light levels point by point across a space or site. Plan reviewers commonly require one for parking and site lighting and for egress paths, and owners use them to verify uniformity before fixtures are bought. Our in-house engineering produces the photometrics and the energy-code package together.

Do you install emergency and egress lighting?

Yes. We install exit signs, emergency fixtures, and the circuits that keep the path of egress lit through a power loss, tested and documented to code — coordinated with the rest of our life-safety scope.
