Tucson property permits, neighborhood by neighborhood
How old the houses are, what has been permitted since 2022, and what that usually means electrically — measured from the City of Tucson’s own GIS layers for 12 neighborhoods chosen for older stock and real permit activity. Every number links back to the record. For any single address, use the lookup.
City of Tucson permits since January 2022
City-wide counts are the same GIS permit layers (85 residential, 81 commercial, 102 code enforcement) with no boundary filter, from 1 January 2022; the description-keyword filters behind each category are listed in the published dataset. Per-100-homes rates on the neighborhood pages use homes with a published build year, and the comparison rate sums those across the 140 registered neighborhoods rather than every parcel in the city.

How this hub is built
Neighborhood boundaries and wards are the City’s registered neighborhood associations. Build years are the assessor’s published values inside each boundary (they stop at 2009, so newer subdivisions read as older than they are and are not featured). Permit counts are the City’s GIS permit layers inside the same boundary, from 1 January 2022 — the window those layers cover; the per-address report reaches back to about 2006 through the City’s Property Research Online file. Neighborhoods were selected by a score on pre-1974 share, permits per 100 homes and size, plus three the owner asked for by name. The dataset with every query is published here. This is a reading of public records, not an inspection of any building.
