Electrical & Construction in Oro Valley
Oro Valley pairs a strong bioscience and aerospace base with steady retail and hospitality growth. Innovation Park, the 565-acre campus anchored by Roche Tissue Diagnostics and including Sanofi and Parker Meggitt/Securaplane, drives demand for lab, cleanroom, and high-reliability electrical work, alongside the UArizona Center for Innovation. The Oracle Road and Tangerine Road corridor is in motion: the Oro Valley Marketplace redevelopment is adding the Encantada apartments, additional retail, and hotels, while Oro Valley Hospital and El Conquistador resort anchor established commercial nodes. Tenant improvements, new shells, restaurant and medical-office fit-outs, and service upgrades are common project types here.

Electric service in Oro Valley is split by location: Tucson Electric Power (TEP) serves much of the town, while Trico Electric Cooperative serves other portions, so confirm your provider early to coordinate service applications, transformer sizing, and any utility upgrades. Commercial building and electrical permits are issued by the Town of Oro Valley's Community and Economic Development Department, which runs its own plan review and inspections through its SmartGov portal, rather than Pima County. We handle permit coordination and utility scheduling as part of the job.
KB-1 (Building), KA (Engineering), CR-11 (Electrical), CR-39 (A/C & Refrigeration) — bonded & insured.
Electrical, engineering, HVAC, underground, and construction in-house — one schedule, one change-order process.
We coordinate service, metering, and Oro Valley permitting so your project doesn’t stall at the utility.
FAQ
Yes. Oro Valley is part of our core Pima County / Southern Arizona service area. Our office is on Wilmot Road in Tucson, a short drive down Oracle Road, and we self-perform commercial electrical and design-build work in Oro Valley with our own crews rather than mobilizing from out of town.
It depends on where the property sits. Tucson Electric Power (TEP) serves much of Oro Valley, while Trico Electric Cooperative serves other portions of the town. We confirm the serving utility at the start of a project so service applications, metering, and any transformer or capacity upgrades are coordinated correctly.
The Town of Oro Valley's Community and Economic Development Department (Permitting Division) issues commercial building and electrical permits and performs plan review and inspections for work inside town limits. Because Oro Valley is incorporated, permits go through the Town, not Pima County. We manage that submittal and inspection process for our clients.
