Electrical & Construction in Green Valley
Green Valley is one of Arizona's largest active-adult communities, anchored by La Posada's 130-acre continuing-care campus and a population that drives steady demand for senior-living, medical-office, and retail electrical work. Commercial growth clusters along the I-19 corridor and the Duval Mine Road interchange, where retail pads, self-storage, car washes, and quick-service buildings continue to fill in. Just west, Freeport-McMoRan's Sierrita copper-and-molybdenum operation is a major industrial employer. Project types here skew toward CCRC and assisted-living facilities, shopping-center tenant improvements, medical and dental offices, and service upgrades for aging commercial buildings.

Electric service in Green Valley is provided by Trico Electric Cooperative, the member-owned co-op that serves Green Valley, Sahuarita, and much of the area south and west of Tucson. New services, transformer coordination, and capacity upgrades are arranged through Trico, so it pays to plan utility lead times early. Because Green Valley is unincorporated, commercial building and electrical permits are issued by Pima County Development Services rather than a town or city office, and inspections follow the County's adopted codes. We handle this coordination on every Green Valley project.
