Before a building rises, the site has to be ready. We self-perform the trenching, duct banks, underground utilities, grading, and primary service that turn raw ground into a powered, buildable site.

What We Do Here

Site & Civil Infrastructure — in detail

Site and civil infrastructure is the work that happens before and beneath everything else — and it sets the schedule for the whole project. Because we own our heavy equipment and run certified operators, we control this scope instead of waiting on it. Here is the civil and underground work we self-perform.

Underground Utilities & Duct Banks

  • Concrete-encased duct banks — We build the multi-way, concrete-encased duct banks that carry primary power, secondary feeders, and communications underground — formed, spaced, and inspected to the utility and engineering spec.
  • Primary and secondary distribution — We install the underground primary and secondary distribution that feeds a site — from the utility point of connection to the transformers and building services.
  • Manholes, vaults, and equipment pads — We set the manholes, pull boxes, vaults, and equipment pads that the underground system and transformers sit on, located and elevated to grade.
  • Wet-utility coordination — We coordinate our electrical duct banks with the water, sewer, and storm utilities sharing the trench corridor, so crossings and separations are right the first time.

Site Preparation & Grading

  • Clearing and earthwork — We clear, strip, and move earth to get a site to subgrade — the foundation for everything that follows, performed with our own dozers, excavators, and loaders.
  • Rough and fine grading — We bring the site to the engineered elevations, from rough cut-and-fill down to the fine grade that building pads, paving, and flatwork require.
  • Building pads and compaction — We build and compact structural pads to the geotechnical specification, with the testing and documentation the project and the AHJ require.
  • Owned Cat fleet and certified operators — Because the excavators, dozers, and loaders are ours and the operators are certified, this work moves on our schedule — no waiting on a rented machine or an outside grading sub.

Primary Service & Transformers

  • Utility coordination and point-of-connection — We work directly with the serving utility to establish the point of connection, confirm capacity, and schedule the work that energizes the site.
  • Transformer pads and foundations — We form and pour the pads and foundations for pad-mounted transformers and switchgear, with the grounding and conduit stub-ups placed exactly to the utility's drawing.
  • Primary conduit and cable — We install the primary conduit and pull the medium-voltage cable that brings utility power onto the site and into the distribution equipment.
  • Grounding and the utility release — We install the grounding systems and carry the work through inspection to the utility release that turns the site live.

Site Lighting & Roadway Power

  • Pole bases and site lighting — We form pole bases, install conduit, and set poles and LED fixtures for parking, roadway, and pedestrian lighting across a development.
  • Roadway and intersection power — We install the underground power and conduit for street and roadway lighting, signals, and intersection equipment on site and frontage improvements.
  • EV, signage, and exterior power — We run the underground feeds for EV charging, monument signage, gates, and other exterior power, with spare conduit for future growth.
  • Photometric layout to code — Our engineering lays out site lighting to meet the required light levels and energy code, documented with a photometric plan for permitting.
