Commercial and retail projects live and die by the schedule — a store has a grand-opening date, a tenant has a lease that starts the clock. Because we self-perform electrical, lighting, underground, and construction under one contract, we keep these projects coordinated and on time. Here is the work that goes into it.

Ground-Up Commercial Construction

  • Complete electrical systems for new buildings — We design and install the entire electrical package for new commercial buildings — service entrance, distribution, branch wiring, lighting, and devices — from the utility connection all the way to the last receptacle.
  • Site and underground coordination — Because our own crews handle the trenching, duct banks, and underground service, the power gets to the building without waiting on a separate subcontractor — one team owns it from the street to the panel.
  • Built around the opening date — Commercial schedules are unforgiving. We sequence long-lead gear, rough-in, and trim so inspections and the certificate of occupancy land when the owner needs to open the doors.
  • Coordinated with HVAC and construction — Power, mechanical, and the building itself are designed and built together, so the rooftop units, panels, and feeders all line up instead of fighting for the same space.

Tenant Improvements & Remodels

  • Fast-track TI for retail and office — Tenant improvements move fast and often happen inside occupied centers. We demo, reconfigure, and rewire suites for the incoming tenant — lighting, power, data rough-in, and connections — on a compressed schedule.
  • Suite reconfiguration and re-feeds — When a space is re-partitioned, we relocate panels, add circuits, and re-feed the suite to match the new floor plan and the tenant's equipment load.
  • Working around open businesses — We phase the work and coordinate shutdowns so neighboring stores stay open and powered while we build out the space next door.
  • Landlord and tenant coordination — We work to the landlord's building standard and the tenant's fit-out requirements at the same time, keeping both the property manager and the new occupant on the same page.

Site & Parking-Lot Power

  • Parking-lot and site lighting — We install pole bases, conduit, poles, and LED fixtures for parking lots and site lighting — designed for safe light levels, energy-code compliance, and even coverage with no dark spots.
  • Signage, EV, and exterior power — We feed monument and building signage, exterior receptacles, and EV charging stations, with the conduit and capacity planned for future additions.
  • Underground feeders self-performed — Site power means trenching across the lot. Our own equipment and operators dig, install the duct banks, and backfill — so the schedule does not stall waiting on an outside excavator.
  • Photometric and energy-code compliance — Our in-house engineering lays out the lighting to hit the required foot-candles while staying under the energy-code wattage limits, with the photometric plan to prove it for the permit.

Retail, Restaurant & Hospitality Systems

  • Kitchen and equipment power — Restaurants and grocery carry heavy, specific electrical loads — hoods, walk-ins, cooking lines, refrigeration. We size and install the circuits, disconnects, and controls each piece of equipment requires.
  • Display, accent, and controlled lighting — Retail and hospitality depend on lighting to sell. We install layered display, accent, and general lighting with dimming and controls that set the right look and save energy.
  • Low-voltage, data, and security rough-in — We rough in the structured cabling, POS data, Wi-Fi, paging, and security pathways so the technology vendors can land their systems cleanly at trim-out.
  • Branded, repeatable rollouts — For multi-location retail and restaurant brands, we build to the prototype so each location matches the standard and opens the same way every time.
